Dr. Stephani McLean is a mixed animal practitioner with a small animal focus at the Morden Veterinary Clinic. She grew up just outside of LaRiviere on an acreage and always has been involved in the agriculture sector. It was at a very young age when she started volunteering at the local veterinary clinic and realized her dream to pursue veterinary medicine. Undergraduate studies were performed through the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Manitoba, and she graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Her passions include nutrition, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery and preventative medicine.
Dr. McLean and her husband, Don, currently farm close to Kaleida with Don's parents. With both having deep roots in the Pembina Valley, it only made sense to raise their son, Dane, and daughter Charlotte here. They have several special pets; an Abyssinian cat named Ira, a playful hound named Georgia, several chickens, and a miniature donkey and pony. Outside of work, Dr. McLean enjoys camping with family and friends, sports such as fastball, curling and taekwondo (currently a second-Dan black belt), and crafts/adventures with her family.
